i think it started because it was my last day off before i started my new job, or maybe because we all had a day off, or (more likely) because we all wanted something sweet. anyways, we decided to celebrate Nathan’s birthday. we cooked cupcakes and played a highly strategic game “shadows over camelot” (which we highly recommend) in his honour. happy birthday Nathan! we wish we could be there…or that you could be here – but as you can see, that doesn’t stop us from celebrating! ~Melissa

Thank you so very much for the birthday wishes. I enjoy spending time with all of you, those near and far. I would love to find some way to gather us all together for another reunion. I enjoyed by birthday. I decided to take the day off and goof off. I have a new game for my computer, so I spent some time playing that. Speaking of games, Jon and Debbie ( a couple on our missions committee we sent to check in on the A Waldeckers) told me that the A Waldeckers hooked them on Cataan and they had to go out and buy the game after they got back.
