A horse is tied to a five meter rope in front of an old saloon. Six meters behind the horse is a bale of hay. Without breaking his rope, the horse is able to eat the hay whenever he chooses. How is this possible?

Is the horses neck long enough to reach the hay?
Is the rope tied to the horse’s foot instead of his neck? Katie
While one end of the rope is tied to the horse, the other end is tied to—-nothing. The explanation says nothing about the rope being tied to something on the other end.
Uncle Gary is right.
