Who Would Win 1

by sejwa on March 1, 2006

If a venemous paper clip from Ireland and a mesomorphic dragoman in a St. Patrick’s Day tunic got into a fight, who would win?

The person with the best answer according to the judge–why, that would be me!–shall be victorious. Who knows, you might even get a prize (I could e-mail you some doughnuts or something).

The red, ripe cherry would win. How you may ask could a cherry win a fight against a venemous paper clip and a mesomorphic dragon. I will explain.
Everyone knows that everything in Ireland is green, usually green with envy. You see that is why the paper clip and dragon were fighting in the first place. Well when the cherry showed up on the scene and involved itself in the fray, some of his redness, started to bleed into the paper clip and dragon’s green. And of course as everyone knows, when red and green mix, you get yellow. When the paper clip and the dragon realized what was happening, they quickly stopped fighting. You see, neither was green with envy anymore. The paper clip has not stirred up and more trouble because would be be afraid of a YELLOW venemous paper clip. The dragon likewise has been quite the hermit because he is ashamed that he is yellow bellied. Of course everyone around him has forgotten how mean he used to be and now thinks that he is a coward. That is were the not so very nice saying that someone is yellow bellied (meaning a coward) came from.
Anyway, after the papre clip and the dragon left the field of battle, the cherry was left victorious.

I would have to say the munificient doula, who maundered in the septentrional desert with a snickersnee that she would use to deliver the impervious message through epistolary means.

how’s that?

I’d have to vote for Nathan’s example (I might vote for Audrey’s if I knew what any of those words meant).

Both answers demonstrated considerable skill and prowess and both worthy of praise and admiration.

However, after careful consideration the impartial judge has declared Nathan to be the overall winner for creativity, comprehensiveness, insightfulness, amusingness and laughitude.

Audrey gets awarded for profoundness, creative word usage, and sesquipedalian mastery.

Kudos to all!

I agree that Nathans is the best answer. Hearing his explanation makes me think how impossible it would have been for this doula to win.
