On our way back from participating in a missions conference in Florida, we stopped by Pinellas Park and got some pictures…..
Here is a shot of Grace Presbyterian Church. There are lots of houses around the church now.
This is the ditch and “tunnel” I used to play in! I’m not sure why I wasn’t worried about snakes.
Here is the house we used to live in. It seemed so small, even though they had added on a large room in the back.
Here is the grapefruit tree that dad planted.
Lots of grapefruit growing on it! I brought one home, if you want it, Dad.
This is the tree that was in the middle of the front yard. What kind was it?

I liked seeing these pictures. Thanks for going there. I actually looked it up on zillow.com and followed the path we used to walk to school. I tried to trace my way to church, but I couldn’t figure it out.

Actually, now they are not. Maybe it just took a long time for them to load.
I always thought the tree in the middle of the front yard was a kumquat (?)…but that looks like sycamore.
Here’s a picture of that tree (I assume) back in the 60’s.
