For my birthday I just got a game called MindTrap. It’s a game of questions that really make you think. I thought it would be fun to post some on here every now and then, kind of like the wordles. Well, here’s the first one:
Hardy Pyle was bragging about his church’s baseball team. He said, “Three of our players hit home runs and two of those home runs were hit with the bases loaded. Our guys won 9 to 0 and not a single man crossed home plate.” How was this possible?

I don’t know much about baseball. Do you have to cross home base for the score to count, or do you just have to touch it, or if it’s a home run do you score automatically without having to run?

By the way, I have played Mind Trap before and I really enjoy it. One time we were at the A-dubs and we played for a couple of hours (were you there? I can’t remember), so bring’em on!

I don’t know much about baseball either, but by “crossed home plate” they mean “scored,” since you really just have to touch it. But just a hint: you really don’t have to know a lot about baseball to answer the question.

They were all married?
Nathan is correct (the key word is “single,” which has more than one meaning).
