For my English Composition class I had to prepare a 5-minute speech persuading the class of something. I was persuading them to not study on Sundays. This is the first speech I have done in English 😀 I have done speeches in German class before (in front of all 4-5 students and teacher), but never in English in front of about 25-30! I got to practice in front of an empty class a few times and in front of a friend before I did it, plus lots of help from my family. I think it went well. Most everyone was looking at me while I talked, but half way through two people started talking in the back row. Well, I guess it is just too bad for them 😉 Anyway, it was a new experience and it is a relief to have it done, though it was kind of fun.

Sounds fun… I hope you convinced some of them! I know, too, it’s been very helpful for me, learning how to speak in front of large crowds. I have to do another in April!
