Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with these birthday posts or any others, really. The bug has found us here in PA. I spent the better part of a week in bed and another week as walking wounded. Woody is now down with it.
During the “walking wounded” week, we did enjoy a visit from Adam & Kristen & family. We spent some time hunting for dining room chairs for them (no luck yet) and we celebrated Jacob’s birthday a week early. Lisa made a fabulous wheatless cake – really yummy.
Tomorrow the girls are going on a youth retreat & ski trip. Should be fun.

Everyone’s sick in Charlotte too… including me.
Sorry to hear about your bug. James said lots of kids at Covenant Day School were sick. Said they even talked of closing school.

It surely is no fun to be sick. But that retreat sounds like fun! could you put up some pictures of it?
The bug has been at Covenant too but so far we have avoided it. Hope everyone is on the mend.
Bug update: I got an antibiotic from the doctor and after two days mostly resting I started feeling fine. Sharon is still taking eye drops but otherwise we are fine now. We were able to go on our weekend away this past weekend (see new post).
