Translating job for TN

by Jannylynn on February 15, 2006

Micah,
Our friend who does medical translation said she heard of a translating job with the state of TN. She said she didn’t even think it was posted yet, but someone contacted her about it to see if she knew of anyone. From what I understand of the job, it is as a paralegal. It has something to do with protecting Spanish speaking people from fraudulent “lawyers”. Anyway, it probably has very good benefits, being a state job. If you are interested I can put you in contact with her, or find out from her who to contact. It requires a college degree and that you speak Spanish.

Yes, I am intersted. It does sound like a good job, though I’m not sure what a paralegal does (I’ve heard the term before, but haven’t really understood it).

Thanks, Aunt Janice.

Micah.
