After six years of semi-study, I have taken and passed all six tests required to obtain my ALHC designation. I now get to sign all me business coorespondence
Nathan Brauer, ALHC
It really is not that big of a deal, but I get to take it off my performance plan now. I took the final test yesterday morning. I was a little nervous as I am not terribly interested in studing the material the test was over. It testing me on everything from insurance laws at sate levels, how different companies organize their business units (high level), to life claims decisions (which I have never processed before). I took the practice exam Tuesday night and scored a 65 (this was without studying). Based on this score, I thought that I would be nervous taking the real thing, but I was not. I ended up scoring an 87%. I was really pleased with that. I think that I will take a break from tests…oh, I can’t. I have signed up for a class that will get my EMT-I license back. It is four months long, 12 hours per week, plus clinical requirements. I will need prayer for sleep during this time. The class starts 11/04/2007.

Good job! Proud of you.
Congratulations! I’ll be praying for your EMT-I class.
That is fantastic Nathan. Caleb LOVES your idea of taking a test and not studying!! 🙂
Congratulations! What does ALHC stand for? How about “Authorized and Lawful Health Claims”? 🙂 or maybe “August, Lofty and Honorable Consultant” 🙂
Nathan. Way to go. I am glad you are doing the EMT thing.
Good job Nathan! Maybe ALHC is Adorable, Lovable Healthclaims Consultant? Or maybe A Lotta Health Claims.
I am alomost sorry to say what ALHC stands for as I am enjoying reading your guesses.
ALHC stands for: Associate, Life & Health Claims
Good job, Nathan! I will pray you get your sleep. There is a verse, I don’t remember where it is found, that says something like, “God gives His loved ones sleep.”
Congratulations, Nathan. We will be praying regarding your next class & your sleep requirements, too.
