Since I have had some time off between jobs, I took the opportunity to drive to Illinois to see my family. Saw my dad and 4 of my 6 siblings. My Texan sister flew in from Austin. The other three siblings I saw live in various parts of Illinois.
Then I drove the 14+ hours back and Janice, the kids, and I went to Dollywood for the day. We (all except Janice) rode a new ride they have in which you ride on roller coaster tracks in an 8 person mine cart. Go straight up (actually a little inverted up) and then almost straight down and upside down. Linnea was scared, but I think we all pretty much enjoyed it.

Sounds like fun. Got any pictures?
no pictures of the rides this time.
I am glad you got to do that!
Nope no pictures. Sorry
It’s nice that you get to have a break in between jobs.
I’m glad that I was not on that thing. But it was good for you to visit with your family. Dad
Glad you got to do that. It sounded like a nice break. Will be praying for your first day on Monday.
It is good to mark transitions and stressful times with time off to visit family and be with family. May God Bless you all.
