The Book of God’s Will

by Audrey on September 28, 2007

Andrea and Audrey just had a conversation, sitting on the window seat in the moonlight…

“Oh, we are going to have a blizzard this winter!” Audrey said matter-of-fact.
“How do you know that?” Andrea asked amusedly.
“We have to!” Audrey continued in a matter-of-fact way.
“Why?”
“Well, I read it in the Book of God’s Will.”
Andrea stared at Audrey confusedly, for she had never heard of that before.
Audrey explained, “You see,” she said,” God shows it to me sometimes.” She paused and continued, ” He sends me on journeys to find the Book of God’s Will. You probably have been on a journey, too, but you didn’t know it and so you didn’t find the Book.”
“What kind of journeys do you have?” Andrea inquired with a smile.
“One time I had to pass by a dragon. But God helped me to be tricky. You see, the dragon was sleeping, but one of the spikes in its tail was propped up so that I could go through. So, I went through, and there was a cave. I went through the cave, then it lead to another cave. It was scary. But at the end of that cave there was a beautiful valley. And do you know where the book was?”
Andrea thought for a second and then answered, ” I don’t know.”
“Take a guess.” Audrey said.
Now Andrea knew. She said, ” It was in a little nook in a boulder.”
” That’s it!” Audrey exclaimed. ” The Book of God’s Will was protected in this nook, so that it wasn’t hurt by the rain, the sun or the moon. But there was light. It came from the ground…no, wait…it came from the book, so that I could see it. And the Book of God’s Will said, ‘There will be a blizzard at the Waldecker’s house, and it will be so cool, and so awesome, so that they will know that I am the Lord.’ So, you see, Andrea, there has to be a blizzard this winter.” Audrey concluded.
Andrea agreed.

Where did you both get that wild imagination? How fascinating.

Oh, we had sooooooo much fun. It was so spontaneous! We just about to go to bed, and the moon was out and so pretty. So we sat in the light of the moon for a while, and I remembered one time when it had snowed and the moon was out, reflecting upon the white snow. It was so beautiful, and I wanted to see it again as we sat on the window seat. Then I thought to myself that I wanted a blizzard of snow this winter, and from there the story launched 😉
