Covenant College

by Audrey on August 29, 2007

Well, classes have been going on for about a week now. I am enjoying my classes, and I am excited to learn. I feel, though, as if they do not give us enough time to learn. But I am glad for this opportunity to be at Covenant. I am making many acquaintances and trying to keep up with all the names! I have been adopted by a hall, so that is nice. I am taking Music Theory; Old Testament; German; Voice; Christian Mind; and Introduction to Musical Style.
My major is Interdisciplinary Studies with three concentrations: German; History; and Voice. So, it has been nice, though a challenge to know when and how to study and learn.

Your classes DO sound interesting, and it sounds like you have a lot of them! How many hours are you taking? – Aunt Sharon

Which hall adopted you?

I am taking 15 credit hours plus “Performance Seminar” which is required for IDS-Music people and is 0 credits. But there isn’t any homework for it (except attending concerts) and it only meets once a week.

Rowan adopted me! Kara Labs is the RA and has been very welcoming. Heidi Barker is on that hall, and she and I get along quite well. I am glad.

Sounds like a fun workload. Is that an oxymoron?

Sounds like a great class schedule. I loved looking at the course schedule and looking at all the things there were to learn. There was not enough time in my schedule for everything that I wanted to take….
