Well, school has started! I’m kind of excited, kind of bummed, kind of happy, kind of stressed… but I know it’ll all somehow work out. By the way, I’m attending five schools, i figured out. (1) I am “senior by extension” with Franklin Classical School back in Nashville, where I’m taking humanities and English/literature. [I also get to graduate from FCS 🙂 ]. (2) I am part of the Gileskirk homeschool group here in Charlotte, where I’m actually doing the humanities that FCS is giving me credit for. (3) I am enrolled at Central Piedmont Community College, where I’m taking Precalculus. (4) I am taking one Latin course (AP Virgil) at Covenant Day High School, then private school I went to last year. (5) And this pretty much makes me a homeschooler (I’m also homeschooling physics… we’ll see how that goes). I am indeed an academic vagabond, but if that’s what God wants me to do, I’ll do it. I actually think I’ll have more time on my hands this year than last year, believe it or not!

I hope you enjoy your senior year, unconventional as it is.
Amazing. Let me know if you need any assistance with physics. I would love to help! I have been praying for you, and will continue to do so.
Unconventionality has the ability to be quite a pleasant adventure – may it be so for you.
James,
I am so glad you get to graduate with/from FCS! So, how does it feel to be a big senior on 4 campuses and an “I don’t know what” at Community College?
An adventure!
It feels pretty good to be a senior; I’m most proud of being a senior at FCS, however. I kind of actually don’t want college to come now!
I am so glad for you, too, James! I know what you mean about not wanting to go to college. For me, at least, I find myself wanting to continue on with homeschooling! However, I’m happy at Covenant. I am enjoying my classes, and trying to figure out how I learn best and take notes best etc. I find that College sometimes doesn’t give you enough time to learn! Anyway, I love happy! 🙂
Don’t you enjoy the freedom to be an academic vagabond that homeschooling gives you? Enjoy your year.
