Chattanooga Night

by Audrey on August 22, 2007

It was pretty fun, the “Chattanooga Night.” It was a little hectic, but overall I think it was handled well. First we all hung around Coolidge Park, and I just talked with some people while others played ultimate frisbee or soccor. Then we walked across the bridge and went out to eat at Qdoba. Then we had to get back over the bridge with two people not touching the bridge (it is about 1/4 mile or so across). So, I went piggy back all the way across on a girl’s back. It takes muscle just to hang on! 🙂 Anyway, that was first of a few tasks for a scavenger hunt. We then had to go to Clumpie’s Ice Cream, buy one sundae and finish it. After a few more (rather boring ones) we just went back to Coolidge Park, since we knew we werent’ going to win and didn’t finish. So, we stood around and talked for another little bit, and then we went on a little cruise on the TN River. That was nice. There was a slight breeze and the sun was setting. Beautiful. Then we went back up the Mountain on buses and I went home. It was a hot day, but I actually didn’t mind it that much–maybe I am getting used to it 😀
