The Boot Trick…Thanks Aunt Sharon!

by andreamegan on August 4, 2007

One of the few memories I have of our family reunion in West Virginia was that Aunt Sharon taught me how to check if there are any bugs in your shoes. You hold the shoe in a vertical position and tap the heel one or two times. If there are any bugs in there, they’ll most likely fall out. Whenever I leave my shoes outside, I always use this trick! Thanks Aunt Sharon!

I think Andrea must have taught it to me, because I do that sometimes, too!

I remember it from childhood. We had lots of bugs in Florida.
