As you probably already know, I took the Physics GRE last Saturday (Nov. 12). I didn’t expect do to very well, because I had taken several practice tests and I performed a little worse on each one I took! Well, I feel like I did a lot better on the actual test. I had fun taking it. However, I had trouble sleeping the next two night because I kept thinking about problems I might have gotten wrong. I won’t know how well I did until around mid-December, though.
It feels good to be done with the Physics GRE (although I still have to take the General GRE). I think I had been more focused on it than I realized because the following Monday I had trouble remembering what I was supposed to be doing for my other classes! This past week I have taken a nap (or two) almost everyday and I usually dislike taking naps. I must have run out of adrenaline. I am very thankful to all of you who were praying for me. I ask for continued prayer as I apply to graduate schools. I would also ask prayer for guidance, because I am not sure right now if I really want to pursue a career in physics.
Excellent idea, this blog. I like the way it is set up, too. It feels…cozy 🙂

Ummm, why does my post not fit within the box? I just tend to think outside the box, I guess.
With regard to the “out of the box” experience, I fixed it for you. I’m not sure what happened. It looked like it was using the courrier font, which makes me think that somehow the “code” tag was used. In any case, I copied your post into Word, they copied it from Word and pasted it over your post. 🙂

To explain what Seth means by the “out of box” experience, his post first came out on just a few lines that extended a loooooong way to the right–off the page. I think this is because one of the “plug-ins” I have turned on. It provides a way to format text without using what is called “html” code. Html code is what appears when you choose one of the tags above this box (like str, or em, or b-quote). This is a way to format using plain text. I either need to turn it off, or make available to you all how to use it.

Seth,
Have you identified any schools to apply to for your advance degree(s)? It is great to hear of your success. wb
