On Sunday, while I was driving to church in my car, I heard and increasingly loud knocking sound. We were able to take the car to the mechanic. I got the diagnosis today – it needs a new engine. 🙁 But the mechanic said it’s not worth getting a “new” engine (apparently they don’t make 1989 engines anymore for some reason 🙂 ) because anyone that would be available would have more mileage than my current engine. It’s quite sad; I liked my little car 🙁
I would appreciate prayer about finding some new transportation, which is quite necessary here in the States.

I’ll be praying.
me too
Ya. Maybe you should have a funeral for your car and give it a nice eulogy. I will pray.
Sorry to hear the news. I will pray.
I am praying, and also I am excited to see what kind of car the Lord will provide next! 🙂
Micah, sorry to hear the news. If memory serves me, you paid $1000 about a year ago. If you didn’t pour any more money into it than that, it was still a good investment. Less than $100 per month (plus gas) for transportation.
I will pray.
Hey Micah. Any car updates? Adam’s van broke down on Thursday and he has also been told that it needs a new engine. We’re getting a second opinion, though, from someone who has a reputation for fixing the unfixable engine. So, we’ll see.
We’re all having car problems! Kristen, on our way to Chattanooga, our check engine light came on and our transmission was slipping.
