Christmas Activities

by phyllis on January 2, 2006

The day after Christmas Gary actually went to Rock City! We went to see the Christmas lights at night and he even liked it although he said it was not his favorite activity. It was a warm 32 degrees and there were a lot of people but it was really pretty. 500,000 lights is pretty impressive and Seth figured out it probably cost them $3000 a night to operate. Gary’s favorite part was seeing the city lights. Oh well!

We are presently in NY with Kirk and Linda and there is snow on the ground. It is supposed to snow more tomorrow. Maybe we will bring some back. We visited in Wilm and Reamstown. We have been fitting a lot into a short amount of time and it has been somewhat chaotic but fun as well. We miss you all at this time of year. We need to find a biiiiggg lodge.

Oh, I agree Mommy! I think we need to get a huge lodge too!

Amen to the lodge!!! How about somewhere in virginia or north carolina…next to a river…where snow is not in short supply…where the summers are nice with a good pool or river nearby 🙂
