Hi, all. I intended to write last week, but whenever I had time the computer was in use. I do enjoy reading the posts. After an hour and a half of catching up on reading and then trying to figure out how to post a note, I MAY finally have it.
What’s been going on here lately is that we’re trying to learn the in’s and out’s of selling on E-Bay. So far we’ve sold an Acquire game and a book. I had seen the book sell before for about $4. Since I didn’t think there would be a lot of clamoring for this particular book I listed it as a Buy It Now for $4. That was at 10:30 at night. When I went downstairs at 6 the next morning, it had already sold! Who knew that a 93-year old book about cement would have been that hot an item! But, in my tiredness, I neglected to add in a small fee to cover the cost of a mailing envelope. That, along with other fees associated with selling meant we sure didn’t make much off that one. Thankfully we have a few books that we got for nothing that we can do this “practicing” on.

Sounds neat. I like how you put “the 93-year old book about cement.” How funny that it would sell so quick!
I’ve always wanted to know how to use E-bay. I hope you can make a business of it. I’ve heard of people making a living that way.
I’ve also wondered about selling on E-bay. It will be interesting to learn from you how things go.
That’s pretty neat! Would you end up selling your antiques over e-bay?
We have a teapot on there now. We’ll see how that goes. It would be nice if it could become another outlet for us.
That sounds like fun, selling things on E-bay. Cool!
