Hello Family! You are now looking at…just go with me okay… the new Kitchen Manager at the Mercury Motel! Hooray! I got officially promoted yesterday, although my manager left a couple weeks ago and i’ve had her responsibilities since then. It’s very exciting although a little nerve-racking. My job includes…everything in the kitchen! I cook everything, serve everthing at evening meals, order and buy all the stock, organize functions (weddings, birthdays, christenings and such), keep the kitchen clean, update the menu, our marketing, and anything else that may need doing! Wow, sounds kinda scarry like that. So yeah, I work my own hours, although I have to be there for evening meals between 5 and 8, and I have a couple kitchen assistants I have to give work to throughout the week…full time job though. Anyways, thought i’d let you all know, i’m very excited! Love to all….

That’s great! I think of you whenever I walk by the Johnson & Wales Culinary Institute located on the first couple of floors in my office building. Which is about every day.
The students have a restaurant that they operate and the food is very good.

“long lost son” just means that I hardly ever post. Just a reminder I suppose that I still exsist.
Andrea, my hours are whatever needs to be done that week. For instance, not much going on this week, worked about 20 hours, but last week it was really busy and i did about 45!
