Settling in

by Philip on January 10, 2007

Hey everybody! I got here without a hitch (after we finally got the trade off from Nathan to Mark and Caleb) and I have been trying to settle in. My school is going very well! I haven’t done a single thing yet! lol. I am supposed to get a call, or an e-mail from my teacher so I can start my AP Physics class. And my first pre-calc class was supposed to be yesterday, but it was canceled dew to snow! It is kind of cool to not have much to do, but on the other hand, I’d like to get into the routine. But I am not complaining for the time God has given me to adjust.

I’m glad you made it safely. I’d like to hear about your trip home. We’ll have to have you come sometime. When is your Spring Break?

Snow!? It’s cold here today – it would be nice to have some snow…no…lots of snow 🙂 Did you get to play in the snow, Phil?

Congrats on the Snow! We haven’t been so lucky yet. I wouldn’t mind 2-3 feet of the white stuff just once….

Good, so good you made it home. I know how you feel, I think, when you don’t have much to do and you do and do not want to do something.

It did flurry here yesterday, yet it was only PARTLY cloudy, so the sun was out and we had scant, big snow flakes. Pretty cool.

We had the same thing for one brief moment yesterday. It was sunny with scattered dark clouds. Then it started to snow big soppy flakes, which melted right away. It lasted only about a minute.

Study hard this semester, Philip! I believe you can do well enough to get into that university in England. I’ll be praying for you.

I know you’ll do fine getting into the routine; and hopefully we can see you again soon.
When it snowed here, everyone at my school was SO happy… I had come downstairs from putting my books away, and everyone was screaming and laughing and hugging one another, I thought something wonderfully amazing had just happened. But it just was a few flakes of transparent snow. Oh well…

lol wow! Lotsa responces to my pathetic excuse for a post!

Yes, I did enjoy the snow! I didn’t think it was enough to cancel school, but I am NOT complaining. I think I have everything figured out now for my Physics thing. I got an e-mail from my teacher, and apparently, I am not behind, which is nice!

I don’t know what I am doing for spring break, or easter break, whatever you want to call it. But I am sure I could come! I would Love it! Please let me know, and I’ll ask the Leuzingers about it.

The main thing I’ve been up to recently is basketball. The reason I mention it is, just in case any of you are interested, here is a site where you can see any of the games.

Thanks for that site, Phil, that will be really cool! Have you already played a game?

Oh, and you should know that there are NO pathetic posts (or even pathetic excuses for a post)! As you can see, we love to hear from family!
